Wet scrubber dust collector

  • Wet scrubber collector is a facility that dissolves harmful gases by making them in contact with a solution being sprayed in the scrubber, or removes the harmful gas and odor by liquefying them through chemical reactions.
Purpose of use
  • Where fumes are generated from the process such as plating, and surface treatment, the cleaning process of semiconductors, the process of acid and alkali gas generation, the process of floating fine particulate matter generation, harmful gas and odor generation at the chemical plant, etc.

Type of filling
  • Tellerette : Typical wire structure filler is mainly used as a gas absorption filler because it has a large effective specific surface area, as it does not form a slope during operation. It also has the advantage of maintaining the distribution characteristics of the original liquid down to the lower part, making it difficult for drift to occur. In most cases, therefore, the installation of a liquid redistributor can be omitted, even if the charging height is high.

Caution
  • The spray should be distributed evenly enough to avoid channeling.
  • The operating point should be between 40 % and 80 % of the flood point.
  • The correlation between the diameter and height of a tower must be greater than 2.5 to prevent cavitation.
